Uxbal is an outcast, householder living with the organization of traffic
related to the city's underground economy and the work of illegal
immigrants (of Senegalese and Chinese origin) and Seer able to
communicate with people just dead for helping them to move to another
life. He lives miserably and tries to educate alone their two sons,
Matthew and Anna. His mother, Marambra, is staffed in bipolar disorders
and have removed you custody of their children. His life is upset by the
discovery of a prostate cancer that does not give him more than some
months of life expectancy. One of his relatives, who pays visit, being
the imminent death of Uxbal and advises him to «arrange their affairs».
